DV8now is the Glitch, Microhouse & Minimal Imprint of DV8now Records.

DV8now Records exists for the love of minimal music. We extend our Gratefulness to the other labels, producers and DJs in the Minimal Electronic community. We Listen. We Love. We Learn. Every day we stray out of thought and time into the exquisite realms that you create. The minimal aesthetic is the future. The future is now.

"Deja" [MP3] / Les Goodrich / dv8now018                                                        This minimal experimental track is surgically edited and programmed using a series of glitch elements that are arranged for funk but rarely layered. The resulting composition has a feel of complex depth, although the sounds are actually simple and few. A lazy tempo with a languid, sleazy attitude that refuses to be anything but electronic.

"Check One-Two" [mp3] / Les Goodrich / dv8now017                                          A deep boomy minimal ride with a hypnotic feel; a late night attention getter.

"Les Goodrich:  Late-Night Deconstruction" / Live DJ set / dv8now016          Recorded Live at The Lounge in West Palm Beach for UnderGroove # 15. This mixed Vinyl DJ set captures the Glitch and Minimal Techno as Les presented it to the UnderGroove crowd at 2AM on Jan. 7, 2006. Sneaky cuts, long mixes and a slow deconstruction of the opening track's tech-house vibe ensues.

"Dear Mark" / Les Goodrich / dv8now015

"You Are Music" / Les Goodrich with Vocals by Sylvia / dv8now014

"House2nite" [mp3] / Stone Calculus / dv8now013                                               A pulsing Tech-House builder. Filtery pads gated and edited into muted chord progressions fill the timeline between a traditional pattern created with non-traditional elements. The vocal samples are from interviews with Juan Atkins and Jimi Hendrix.

"Les Goodrich: Live at X-it" / Live DJ set / dv8now012                                       Les Goodrich's escalating DJ set was recorded live by Brando Ness on Friday, March 18, 2005 for Internal Affairs at Club X-it. A journey through the technical landscapes of advanced Experimental Minimalism, this recording captures the DJ’s art of logical yet unpredictable progression. Come into the club as Les builds it up with the intricate layers of eclectic tracks and technical seriousness that he is known for.

"House For Sale" / Les Goodrich / CD Album  / dv8now011                                The finest of DV8now Records in CD form. This collection of deep tech house, and vocal chugging funk is an absolute classic. Produced by Les Goodrich with performances by various vocalists and musicians. This is House music with the Funk of Florida's deep vibe from beginning to end.

"The Art of Chill" / by FlowLab (ambient/experimental turntableism) / dv8005
